14:12:20 7th December 2009

Those wishing to use their garden and greenhouse to provide food for themselves and their family may be interested in an upcoming event.

The Edible Garden Show takes place in Warwickshire's Stoneleigh Park from March 19th to 21st next year.

Readers of the Daily Mirror may have noticed that the newspaper is currently running a competition to win tickets to the event, as well as a night's bed, dinner and breakfast at the luxury four-star Chesford Grange Hotel.

The newspaper suggested that the "three-day extravaganza" is a "must see" event for those interested in horticulture.

It said everyone from greenhouse experts to garden novices will enjoy and benefit from the show, with a number of experts and exhibitors on hand to distribute growing tips.

Entrants have been asked whether Chelsea, Hampton Court or Stoneleigh Park will be the venue for the show, with the competition closing on December 11th.

Meanwhile, the Royal Horticultural Society's president, Giles Goode-Adams, recently announced his intention to step down in July 2010.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19498548-ADNFCR
