IN AND AROUND THE GREENHOUSE

Avoid the temptation to turn a greenhouse into a storage area. Site greenhouses away from play areas and consider the position of side vents; louvre-style vents are less obtrusive. Keep pathways clear and prevent slippery surface algae. Store tools away from the greenhouse to avoid breaking glass. Minimise awkward lips and uneven paths to prevent tripping over. Position water butts on a solid base so they cannot tip over. Ensure cold frame panels are fastened securely when open.
