Hartley Botanic mentioned in list of top garden and greenhouse sites

Hartley Botanic has been named in a list of 50 websites that make life easier for gardeners.

The Times compiled its favourites in an article entitled MySpade.com: The top 50 gardening websites.

It described Hartley Botanic‘s garden and greenhouse online resource as: “A site selling smart glasshouses, such as the Kew range, with a launch offer price from £18,690. It also has blogs, diaries and tips from horticultural writers.”

The aim of the list was to highlight webspaces that not only give growers a chance to buy what they need, but added value through extras such as advice and news.

Other inclusions on the list included a number of sites dedicated to seeds and plants, such as chilternseeds.co.uk and thompson-morgan.co.uk.

As well as the furniture and accessories section, there was also a range of blog and forum resources, kitchen gardening providers and general offerings such as the Royal Horticultural Society‘s (RHS) online space.

The RHS recently revealed its director-general Inga Grimsey intends to step down at the end of the year.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19359303-ADNFCR
