Horticulture enthusiasts will have a chance to introduce their offspring to the world of gardens and greenhouses at an upcoming show.
Greenhouse growers looking to introduce their kids to horticulture can now take them to the Royal Horticultural Society‘s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show for free.
The event takes place between July 7th and 12th and is set to offer a range of things to see and do for children and adults.
Kids will be especially welcome on the last two days, with the event‘s family weekend meaning youngsters will have the chance to learn through fun activities.
Little garden lovers can get their green fingers on freshly grown food, learn how to cook it, as well as witness an array of wildlife.
Face painting, entertainment and a display of scarecrows created by schools will also make up the itinerary.
“Getting children gardening, being outdoors, discovering nature and learning is core to the RHS and this action-packed event provides fun and inspiration for all the family,” explained show manager Mandy Almond.
The organisation recently revealed one of the main themes of the event would be growing your own curry.
