Tickets go on sale for garden and greenhouse show

Tickets are now available for a prestigious garden and greenhouse show taking place next month.

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Horticultural Halls will host the organisation's Autumn Harvest Show on October 5th and 6th.

Visitors can expect fine displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables, including special exhibitions from the likes of Jon Wheatley and Winchester Growers.

Mr Wheatley should be familiar to RHS members after he helped design the gold-medal standard feature, Home Grown, at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show earlier this year.

He has also won gold at both Hampton and the Chelsea Flower Show for his dahlia exhibitions.

Interflora – another RHS Chelsea gold medallist – will also be represented and has created a huge curtain of autumnal flowers and foliage, which will hang from the ceiling.

As well as the beautiful flowers, there will be displays of delicious fruit and vegetables, including Lindley Hall's exhibition of apples, pumpkins and carrots.

In other news, the RHS has released the latest edition of its Encyclopaedia of Plants and Flowers.ADNFCR-1495-ID-800049303-ADNFCR
