RHS announces Chelsea line-up

Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts planning on heading to the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) famous Chelsea Flower Show next year have been given a glimpse of what to expect.

The organisation has revealed a number of the names set to appear at the event, including the return of renowned grower and multiple gold medal winner Bunny Guinness.

It will be the first time the expert has appeared at the show in eight years, explained show manager Alex Denman.

"We have literally been inundated with exhibitors. Our final selection of show gardens represents the very best garden designers in the world today," he said.

Ms Guinness will design a display with a modern take on the traditional kitchen garden for sponsors M&G Garden.

Meanwhile, the British Heart Foundation Garden will be created by Anne-Marie Powell and will be based around the movement of blood around the body.

Other exhibitors include Cancer Research UK and the Daily Telegraph, which have recruited the help of Robert Myers and Cleve West respectively.

In other news, the RHS has revealed that a rare moss which only grows on thatched roofs may be more common than first thought.ADNFCR-16000279-ID-800247347-ADNFCR
