the draper fork would be great
I would love to win the hoe. Not 100% sure what its for but looks like I could dig the top of the ground with it. I’m a rubbish gardener, luckily I have a wonderful neighbour who tells me what to keep and what to dig up.
We worked really hard in the garden last year, would love some new tools to keep it in top top condition
Always save your inner toilet roles for planting seedlings or young bedding plants out in. Great insulation and protection for them whilst funnelling early shoots deeper into the soil, when plants become established they decompose quickly without harming the plant or your soil.
great prize
Hi – I was told about this last year and it really works. When you have your hair cut ask your hairdresser for it (and other surplus hair if you want) and put it round your plants and it deters snails and snugs. It can also help towards good soil.

The Digging Spade would make a big difference on my allotment in my quest for self-sufficiency!
The digging spade would be perfect for me, the handle on my old spade has broken and it is hardly worth spending any money on a repair job.
the little windmills that you can pick up for a pound at the seaside are great for keeping mice out of your pea row or birds off your cabbages, just place them 3-4 foot apart up the row and the noise they make whilst spinning scares off pests
i said to my wife if i win this prize i will give you a nice garden to sit out in. that put a smile on her face.

new garden…currently rubble…much needed!
When tending your garden in early spring or after heavy rainfall when the ground is easily compacted, avoid standing directly on the soil and instead obtain a wide plank of wood such as a scaffold board which can be used to stand on and will spread your weight keeping your feet clean and your soil in tip top condition.
I’d love to win this wonderful prize as an incentive for my husband to tidy up our garden and get it ship-shape for the Spring!
Hi – Thanks for opportunity to enter. I am not sure what exactly what I am meant to be doing – a bit like my gardening I suppose. But as they say nothing ventured – nothing gained. I do love eating my garden peas and veg and pots. Looking forward to some heat and sunshine in the garden again.

It would set me up for the start of the season, so i can start feeding my family for free with the help of some new tools x
I always start spring off by tidying up my herb beds; the thought of lovely tasty food inspires me even when it is really cold. Lots of my herbs started life as ordinary supermarket herbs. I just plant them outside and most of them survived even last winter!
I have no garden tools and just a newbie too gardening. I hope to turn my large but messy garden into a lovely eye pleasing space to relax in come summer.
We just bought a house with a huge garden and this is our first house with garden. By summer I like my garden to be filled with vegetables, fruits and flowers. I am not sure if it is possible but I would love to try. At the moment we dont have a single gardening tool. I would really love to win this to see fruits and flowers in my garden. Thank you
i need some new secateurs
Don’t put off your planting until the weather gets better, go and buy some bulbs and seeds and plant them into pots and put them on a windowsill in the house, then when the weather gets warmer you can plant them out and have a beautiful colourful garden. Take it from me, I’ve left it much too late in the past and regretted not having my plants ready, then had to spend even more money buying plants the plants I could have grown myself if I was more organised. If you’re not sure what you are doing check out websites such as this for wonderful practical advice and tips.
def a shovel, broke ours in the snow last year
The digging spade would be perfect for me
Got an allotment last year, but having to share the tools between the allotment and home (and its 2 miles away) – which means lots of carrying tools from one to the other. If I win the new tools, then my old ones can stay at the allotment.
