Hartley Botanic win Award at Chelsea 09

Hartley Botanic have won yet another award at this years prestigious Chelsea Flower Show for 'Outstanding Presentation'. The stand whose interior was in association with Period Living magazine has been designed by Phillip Hooper from Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler, was themed on the work of Thomas Andrew Knight, a keen fruit grower and botanist of the 18th century, who later to become President of The Royal Horticultural Society for 27 years.

To commemorate the stand and occasion Giles Coode-Adams the present President of the RHS opened Hartley's stand to the worlds press on Monday morning. Mr Coode-Adams thanked Hartley for their many contributions to the Society over the years, most recently at RHS Harlow Carr where an major Alpine Glasshouse structure had recently been opened to the public.
